Rob Muzzy is a man who knows what he likes and what he likes is winning. Five decades in racing has made him the most successful engine builder and tuner in racing history. He has compiled an amazing record; earning 21 AMA National Championships in Superbike, Supersport, Drag Racing, Dirt Track, Motocross plus a World Superbike Championship, victory at the Suzuka 8-hour endurance championship race and 4 Daytona 200 wins. A professional tuner since the age of 18, Rob’s career began at the dragstrip in the late ‘50s, moved to the desert in the early ‘60s, to the dirt tracks in the ‘70s, onto the speedway in the ‘80s and returned to the dragstrip in the late ‘90s. This is how, along with an eye for spotting raw talent, Rob Muzzy became one of the most successful race team owners ever. Eddie Lawson, Ron Lechien, Ricky Graham, Scott Russell, Miguel Duhamel, Doug Chandler, Rickey Gadson, Ryan Schnitz; all of these riders, and numerous others, won either with an engine developed by Muzzy, or with Muzzy as the crew chief. Regardless of who was sitting on the bike in the winner’s circle, it was Rob Muzzy’s tuning that helped get him there. Today the same innovation that’s led to Team Muzzy’s championship victories goes into every performance product we build.
